Ingredients :
- 180 g all-purpose flour
- 30 g cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon milk powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 60 g unsalted butter (cold)
- 50 g Alamii Floss
- 40 g cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 egg yolk
- 5–10 tablespoons cold water
Cooking Instructions :
- In a bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, milk powder, salt, and baking powder. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture onto a kneading mat or keep it in the bowl.
- Add the cold butter, then cut it into the dry ingredients using a dough scraper until the mixture becomes crumbly and well combined.
- Add the Alamii Floss and grated cheddar cheese. Mix again until evenly distributed.
- Add the egg yolk and gradually pour in cold water while gently kneading until the dough comes together. The dough should be firm, easy to shape, and not sticky.
- Roll out the dough very thinly (about 2 mm thick) using a rolling pin.
- Cut into desired shapes using a cookie cutter or slice into rectangles.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely to achieve a perfectly crispy texture before storing in an airtight container.
